Time flies...

Just a summary of events:-

1) I resigned from my company (Lawyer). Serving 2 months notice

2) Will be working in Sentul, KL in October

3) Still lecturing until end October 

4) Taekwondo trip to Korea next week (for 6 days)

5) Taken over all admin work for Taekwondo - alot of compiling and work to do

What I've learned from my current law firm:-

TO IMPROVE AND BE BETTER

Will always remember and apply the advice from my bosses. I'm thankful for everything that I've been through. 

I thought that this year was going to be a tough year. I was wrong. This year is a VERY tough year and it's only the beginning...

I'm looking forward working in the new law firm. When I think about how to manage my time for all my other matters, I take a deep breath....

CIDTT

Working on my 2nd, 3rd and 4th Assignment for my Cambridge International Diploma for Teachers and Trainers. Completed the 1st one (sometime in March) and pending results (20th June).

It's hard to concentrate especially when I'm working on a full time basis.

Little by little, going through the main reference book, dissecting the theories and planning my answers/feedback.

"Che Ching"

Working hard. 2nd week - (7 court attendance in the morning) (6 Night lecture classes). Tough times.

Sometimes my brain goes 'dead'.

Lord, Give me the strength to continue.

Taekwondo N.Sembilan 5th & 6th April

Based on my observation:-

Good points:-
- Location is good.
- Participants are novice to slightly above average.
- Good experience for first timers

Areas to be improved:-
- Schedule.. Changes last minute.
- No ESS. Conventional / manual scoring, hence not updated
- Poomsae only one referee/Judge.
- Referees refuses/lacking in giving kyongo for holding/grabbing.
- Poomsae - 4th placing removed last minute

We sent 6 students for sparring, 3 for poomsae.

Sparring (1 Gold , 1 Silver , 1 Bronze) - expected 2 more medals but system failed my best student.
Poomsae (1 Bronze) - the other two could have easily won 2 bronze. Not sure why.

I sincerely hope that we can move on to the next level.

Lecturing : Continues (Business Law) - April 2014

Received Offer to continue lecturing part-time for the Business Law Subject for Diploma in Business and Foundation in Arts students.

The last sem : Oct 2013 - Feb 2014 , lectured the Corporate Law (Bachelor Business Students) and Business Law (Diploma in Business students).

This time, it will be 3 times per week.

Time moved so fast. My first time lecturing was in March Sem intake (April -July 2011). Moving into my 4th Year Lecturing.

Semesters handled to date:-

Foundation in Arts : 4 Semesters (Business Law)
Diploma in Business : 3 Semesters (Business Law)
Bachelor in Business/Accounting : 1 Semester (Corporate Law)

Hard Work pays. I just hope I have the strength to continue.
