Life

Life is short.... meaning, it is given to us from the day of birth, but can be taken away anytime. It doesn't mean that we will loose it when we grow old or at some point in time, considers ourselves old or considered by society to be 'old'. It's all irrelevant. We can loose our life anytime and anywhere. Life is just short. Life is temporary - the life here on earth in our human flesh and blood form. Life in heaven is eternal. Appreciate every moments you spent. Every single moments. That very few minutes and seconds. Be thankful for it. Praised God for it. Praise God that He gives us a few seconds more, a few minutes more to live... I am thankful. I am grateful. Praise God for even this moment as I blog.

Dear Lord, if you were to take me, do take me only when I have fulfilled my purpose here on earth. My purpose is to fulfill your purpose. Your will. Help me to do that while I am still alive here. Guide me and be with me. Then when it is done, take me away to be with you. But until it is done, help me to live life according to your will. Dear father in heaven, forgive my sins and forgive me for the things that I've done that are not pleasing to you. Give me grace. Give me forgiveness. Give me peace. Amen.

Knowledge and Experience

What is knowledge and experience? Knowledge is something we gain through learning(own self or from another), through teachings from others, through what people perceived that we can obtain from Education(schools, college, university, learning centers, skills centers etc). Knowledge gives us power. Power of intelligence. Power to do something, that others may or may not able to do. Power to be better. Power to enable us to be the better one is society. We cannot deny that , with more knowledge, a person becomes in this context "more powerful". Question: Do we then misuse knowledge? In my opinion: No. We use knowledge for our better improvement. To be better in terms of character and upbringing. And in time, we use knowledge to help others. We cannot and never be stingy in the sharing or knowledge. I dont think that it is pleasing to God, that we do not share our knowledge. Why shouldn't we share our knowledge when life on earth is only a temporary one?? God teaches us about Sharing. Sharing can done in the sharing of knowledge as well! Lets not discuss about other subjects for sharing. Just solely based on knowledge first. Why not share knowledge when we are able to given the right time and opportunity? It's my opinion that knowledge should be shared. Once again, I am referring to positive knowledge, not negative ones.

What is experience then? It is something we gain along in life, in time. Experience is different from knowledge. Why? You get experience from your own actions done in the past. You know what is right and what is wrong on a particular issue that you had already went though. Note this, it must be something that you went though. Then only you are able to share that experience (which you should as a Christians) to other brothers and sisters that you come across in life, with hopes that they could learn something from your experience (whether to do a positive action or to avoid a certain action).

Now, whether they accept your sharing of knowledge and experiences is another question. Remember, that it is our CHOICE to share, but its THEIR CHOICE to listen OR accept. We can only do so much. The rest is up them. After all, it is THEIR LIFE.
Listen to what I have to say first.. the reason of saying this is because of the reasons below :

What is the danger that we must be careful with when we gain more knowledge and experience then? The danger of forgetting our humble attitude and being proud. The danger thinking and feeling that we know what is the so called "best option". The danger to "make the decision for another". The danger to ultimately take control on another persons life. This comes back to olden days when Kings and Emperors does what they think is best for the people. If they are right, why aren't we using such system in today's life? Let us not forget, that we may not be all 100% right. How do you know or how do I know that we are 100% right? There is always room or place for changes. Room for improvement. Room for giving a chance. We cannot and can never say that based solely on our knowledge and experience alone, we are 100& correct. That would be a shallow thinking. Even a PHD in a certain subject matter can be wrong when he gives a statement or an opinion. Why? Because , time changes and there could be another PHD in that subject matter arguing the exact opposite. Who is then wrong? And if think that we are always right, based on our knowledge and experience, and to not give room for the possible chances that we may be wrong, Where is the faith then? If we as humans knows what is 100% right, then where is God? What happens to the trust in God? What happens to faith in God? What happens to the statement saying "let us seek God's will"?? God's Will SHOULD BE and WILL BE the deciding factor in EVERYTHING. If you cannot accept this, then you do not Believe in the existence of a God. You may then think you are better then God. You may think that you "are" God. That is not right. Reality check, you are still Human. You are "fragile" at times. You have your weak moments. You can never play God's role/position. That is my opinion.

Even by making this opinion, so to speak, I might be wrong as well?? I do not know. But I know the danger of forgetting oneself when there is misuse of knowledge and experience as I have clearly stated above.

Dont get me wrong when I give you my opinion on the dangers of knowledge and experience. I am not denying that we need both of that in our lives. We are, after all, learning. But let us not allow our learning's in life to "destroy" ourselves or others. This is once again my opinion. God bless.

Wishes

Everyone has wishes. A wish is something that you want. Something that you crave for. Something that you desire. A wish is a wish. And everyone has wishes ya. Most of the time, we wish for something good in our life. We wish for something that we want. We do not wish for something that we do not want. But in wishes, can we only wish for a positive wish or can the wish be a negative one as well?? On the Christian point of view , as a Christian, it is of my opinion that when we wish for something, we bring it up to God. I do not wish for something from Satan. I wish something from God. How do we wish something from God? We pray. We pray that God answers our wishes. We talk to him, we ask him. We ask that He grant our wishes. What our hearts desire - our hearts wishes. Question : Can we wish for positive wishes or negative wishes as well?? Let me give you an example: I wish from God that my family will remain safe and grow spiritually together with God. That is a positive wish. Something that brings good. Not to oneself, but to others. A negative wish would be like this : I wish that God will make those that compete against me in a competition, be sick during the competition, so that I may win and gain what I want or desire. That in my opinion is wrong. A negative wish from God, is not something we can ask from God. I do not think, that after all His teachings, we are able to ask and seek negative wishes from God. The right way to wish is to ask God to give Us strength to be stronger to win the competition, and not to wish that the competitor be weaker and to condemn them. That is not what God would want, I think. God wants us to be positive towards others. If He can teach us to 'Love our enemies', then how can we have negative wishes?? God teaches us to Forgive. He teaches us to Help One Another. Everything that He thought us, is to become more and more like Jesus and if u notice in detail, the things that Jesus does are positive ones. He was a good Samaritan ie help the needy. He Forgived our sins through his death - this is a positive action, a positive wish that through his Death, we are saved. So, seeing the teachings of the Bible, Jesus's sacrifice , and God's teachings to us as his Children, can we ever ask God in Jesus's name, to grant us a negative wish? It is of my opinion that the answer and conclusion, would be NO. We can ask positive wished from God to be better , to improve ourselves and love those around us. In time, we ask God to guide us along the way, to pick us up when we are down, and to forgive us our sins that we have done or may do in the future. Dear friends, we are not perfect like I said before in my previous posts.. we are all learning. We ask that God be on our side and that God guide us through tough times and good times. Let us pray that God will give us a peace of mind, think positively and to do positive actions like what Jesus would have done. May God bless us all! Amen.

Exams Fear

Everyone is afraid of exams. The question is whether they are VERY AFRAID or just a little afraid.... That's normal.. What is normal ? The "fear" is normal. The "worrying" element is also normal. Why? Simply because we are all "afraid" that we cannot answer the exam question correctly OR that we feel "unprepared/ not fully prepared" to go for the exams... But we must understand this... NO ONE IS 100% prepared...Even if you are prepared 100% , the exams might not follow your way... many other elements such as health, tricky question, transport to exam hall, weather, lost of concentrations suddenly, or even when the pen finished INK!!!! Many factors will affect us. Therefore , what do we do before exams? We study. We revise. We revise and study again. We try our best to prepare ourselves for the exam day by day, time by time. We might not be 100& ready, but we try our best. From there, we learn to be hardworking. We learn to have the right studying attitude. We learn from time to time. We cannot deny that we dont worry at all after doing all the things that we have to do. But we need to control ourselves not let emotion overtake us and control us. Once that happens, we will worry a lot and cannot focus on the present or the coming future. Of course, no one is perfect. Therefore, we learn. Slowly we learn. I'm learning too. We are all "students of life" . We learn from others, we learn from seniors, we learn from parents and we learn from GOD! Friends, no matter what the exams are that you are going to face, put your trust in God, do your work and no matter what the results are in the end, you will know that you did your best and that you have become a better student that will be more prepared to face the other exams in life! Friends come and go

From time to time, we make new friends. Old friends, we try to maintain. But no matter what, people always come and go. That, we must accept. We miss our friends. We cherish friendship. So, as long as we try our best to keep in touch and care, we can be assured that some friends will also remember us and keep in touch and continue to care for us. But, not all friends are like that... So we have to learn to accept that some friends may be busy with their life and with hope that someday they will keep in touch with us... That's all we can do. Sometimes, they are busy or far away... we have to accept that... But we try not to forget them. Dear friends, always try to keep in touch with one another. The method is not important ie email or sms or call or whatever. Its the thought and action of making that "step" to keep in touch, that counts. Today we are friends. Tomorrow we should also be friends. Friends is something that should not be lesser by the day. We should have more friends by day. Cherish your friendship with one another. You may not miss your friend. But that friend might miss u. Friends are forever!

Dependence on God

"God works in mysterious ways", Mr Bean once said in one of his movies. Haha.. go figure out which one..=p But that sentence really reminded me that Hey, it's true. We are weak without God's spiritual guidance. Without his strength, we are weak. Sometimes he does things in His own way which we cannot understand. And when that happens, if we are weak, spritually, we will feel down. We will feel mentally and physically weak as well. We won't have what modern society uses the term "the driving force/power" to carry on and face the problem/obstacle. Don't give up! Have faith in Him. Seek his spiritual blessings and you will be strong. People will ask, how?? Simple, back to basics : Read His Word (the Bible) , Listen to His Word (Sunday sermon) and apply them in our lives (the difficult part - this is where we need to pray for more strength to carry out His Will in our lives). Lastly , we have fellowship with one another. Fellowship with family. Fellowship with out Christian brothers and sisters. Fellowship with our partners or the ones we love. What does fellowship then means? It means to show concern genuinely to another with the intention of helping strengthen the relationship of that person with God and yourself in order to grow together in accordance to God's will written in His Words.

The Daily Bread 10th September :
Psalm 16:2 says, “You are my Lord; apart from you I have no good thing.” Dear friends, recite these words aloud to the Lord throughout the day as a reminder of your dependence on Him.

How much should a graduate pay be?

I've been surveying.... been talking to ppl....
The question is "how much should a graduate pay be?" ie someone with a min Degree qualification.

From my observation, it seems that graduates faced this problem of "salary" aside from the "employment" issue and this problem has not really been resolved. In any corporate company, a graduate pay can go no less then rm1800 to rm2000. That's corporate company. The case is not the same for EVERYTHING ELSE. OMG..... DUDE, u can't pay a law graduate with rm800-1200..... dude..... Yes i know, yes we know, we dont have Experience... but that figure is just labor exploitation!

As the saying goes, "you pay peanuts , you get monkeys". Anyway, even if an employee accepts that miserable pay, he will learn all he need, and leave the company later. Why?? Why waste time,effort and money training someone that WILL WANT TO LEAVE????

Good employers... or should i say, smart employers will pay Reasonable salary, provide the necessary training , build a good relationship with the employee, and the company WILL grow! Just because others are paying less, doesn't mean they should follow... dude.... dude.....

Although im not working now (further enhancing my academic qualification), but i WILL work someday soon.... Employers need to think and be considerate! Care for the workers and the workers will care for the company's well being as well!
